The Lower School at Yellowstone
The lower school at Yellowstone Schools is a private Christian school serving over 300 students, who receive individualized support to meet their academic goals. With an average student-teacher ratio of 17, students are taught by passionate, loving teachers who care not only about students’ academic success, but also about students’ personal lives. Teachers are trained in Conscious Discipline, a transformational learning approach grounded in brain science that helps students learn better—academically, socially, and emotionally.
Grounded in the Christian faith, students attend chapel every Monday and learn about God through weekly Bible classes.
Lower school students maximize their learning by taking field trips throughout the year to reinforce their learning and expand their sense of what’s possible. Previous trips include the zoo, farms, college tours, Moody Gardens, Camp Cullen, senior care centers, theaters, rodeo, trampoline parks, museums, food banks, and more! Students can also join extracurricular activities such as basketball, cheer, choir, and more to develop their creativity, perseverance, teamwork, and discipline.
Yellowstone Schools is committed to providing high-quality education to all families—regardless of financial means—by offering tuition at little to no cost. Learn more about tuition and financial aid by clicking here.
